The May Post

April was a strange mixture of hectic and happy. I finished with uni for 3rd year, found out what modules I'll be taking in 4th year, had a tour of my uni's anatomy department and saw a dead body (!!), and started a new job. It looks like May is shaping up to be not quite as weird, but here's a look at what I've got planned anyway...

Work >> I'm just one of those people who can't relax at work. I'm always so anxious there, even though in my head I know I have everything under control. However, I'm slowly getting used to it and I feel like May will continue on this good path. I'm essentially running a section of the store I work in so there's a lot of responsibility, but as with any job it's so great to know that I'm being independent and earning my own money. And the people there are so lovely too, which helps.

Hello October >> I've been such a huge fan of Suzie's blog and YouTube channel for years now, so when I heard she was coming to Glasgow for a masterclass with YSL on the 13th, I immediately bought a ticket. I've never been to an event like this so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm so excited and looking forward it! I also feel like I need to pick out an amazing outfit and do my makeup top-notch, as I'm so inspired by her whole style!

Day trips >> As mentioned, I finally landed a job for the summer and so has Liam, so I'm really looking forward to spending our summer doing loads of fun stuff. We're both in saving mode rather than spending so unfortunately it looks like a holiday isn't on the cards, but hopefully we'll be able to take some day trips to surrounding cities we love like St. Andrews and Edinburgh.

Tattoos >> I recently posted about my tattoo experience and it got me thinking that I'd love to get another. I'm hoping that this month is when I finally make my mind up on my second tattoo and get booked in. I'm so full of ideas of what I want, but my issue is on placement - I'm a very tiny person, there's only so many places I can put them all!
