Life Updates & Blog Updates

As of tomorrow I am back at university, ready to study more English Lit and Film and to begin an internship, eek! Anyone who has read this blog before knows how I struggled to post consistently when I started uni, but I really truly want that to change this time around. I thought I'd take the time to talk schedules and introduce some things that are coming up!

The past month or two I got back into the swing of things and posted every two days. I want to keep posting frequently but I know that it will be difficult with my coursework heavy course, so my plan is to drop down to posting every three days. I'm sure there will be some quiet times every now and then, but over the holidays I totally fell back in love with blogging and I want to create content that you will all love too, and the goal is to do this continually. I know that a schedule isn't necessary when blogging, but I like having one to stick to and so this is my goal for now.

In terms of topics I am of course going to stick with fashion and beauty, my true loves. I had my first splurge in a long time over the holiday so I have some amazing things to share with you, fashion and beauty alike. I want to bring in some more "uni stuff" as I like to call it. I'm talking organisation, lifestyle pieces, decorating - being a student and a blogger is tough and I'm sure that many of you can relate to that so I want to talk about it more! I also have plans for a monthly post to sum up my time and the items I loved. It will be less strict than a Monthly Favourites which I don't particularly enjoy writing so I'm excited to begin!

It's been so fun getting back into blogging and chatting with you all, so I would also love suggestions on anything you would like to see here on emiloue! Good luck to anyone heading back to uni/college/school too!

  1. This is the first I am seeing your blog. It certainly looks refreshing!

To be honest there are many fashion and beauty blogs on twitter that I find it overwhelming at times - like a small fish in a big pond.

All the best with your future posts. I will pop back from time to time
