What I Got For Christmas // The Beauty Edition

I was definitely spoiled this Christmas, but I'm not going to do a full What I Got For Christmas post this year because, to be honest, I didn't get anything too wow-worthy. That's not to say that the gifts weren't lovely, because they were! - it's just that they were things like money, books or socks.

However, one particular category of gift that I thought would be fun to talk about was beauty! In my stocking I found YSL's Touche Eclat Highlighting Pen which I was not expecting at all as I don't think I ever mentioned it to my mum! My parents also gifted me perfume in the form of Marc Jacob's Daisy Dream which I definitely asked for, and my Aunt, Uncle and cousins bought me my first MAC lipstick, in shade Plumful which is right up my street! One other beauty gift I forgot to photograph was an Essie polish in shade Summit of Style, given to me by my sister. you can see me wearing it on Christmas day in this post.

I'm incredibly happy with these gifts and have already started using them every day since receiving them - so I'm sure you can expect some reviews in the foreseeable future! And, to finish with a little disclaimer: this isn't me showing off at all. I like reading this style of post and so wanted to contribute, and I am incredibly grateful to have been given such lovely presents!

  5. Daisy perfume always has the prettiest bottles, they look lovely on my dressing table (even when they are empty!) Love the colour of that lipstick, it reminds me of Kylie Jenners make up!
