This isn't the most exciting of hauls but everyone needs basics! As I'm heading to university this week, I picked myself up some items I can wear with multiple outfits. I'm quite bad at buying myself basics so this was a well needed trip!

Summer is sadly now drawing to a close so I've been trying to wear these as much as I can. Romwe had one of their flash sales about a month ago on these black lace trim shorts and as I had been lusting after a very similar pair from Ark, I decided to snap these up for around £6.

I love me a Maybelline Colour Tattoo - On & On Bronze is one of my all-time favourite products. But, I just couldn't get on with Permanent Taupe. The colour didn't look right on me - it made me look really tired - and it creased after a few hours which hasn't happened with the others I've used. However, I've discovered an alternative use!

I realised I haven't made a Daily Outfit post in a while (the last one posted included photos taken in Wales a month ago!) so when my family held a little BBQ in our garden, I thought I would take some snaps.

This summer I've been experimenting a little more with my nails, testing the waters with non-pink-hued colours. So, it felt appropriate to share the shades I've been sporting on my nails the past few months. These all happen to be Barry M as I just adore the Gelly Nail Paint formula!

I don't really talk about books often on here, but I am an avid reader. I actually just got into an English & Creative Writing course at uni! Anyway, I thought I would share with you the books I have read over the past few weeks, while travelling and while chilling.
How many times can I feature this skirt; I know, I know. But when the sun comes out, this skirt slips on. I took these photos while in Baumaris, Wales, on holiday. It was a lovely little town with a huge pier which people would go crabbing on, and had lots of cute gift shops and eating places. Anyway, onto the outfit...
