Oh you bet I fell for the hype with this one. The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is raved about all over the internet, and it was something I always longed for but passed up due to the price - nearly £30 is a lot for a cleanser. However I've got to say, it is totally worth the money. Onto the rave...
Of course I had to use a Lily Pebbles cover - she turned me onto this cleanser!

Now, I don't mind being pale. I'm used to it. But, when Summer rolls around I, like many others I'm sure, get the tanning bug. I like being outside in the sun but try to be safe and so rarely catch a natural tan (I don't tend to burn either though which is a bonus!). So, if I do want a golden(ish) glow, self tanning is the way.

I've spoken about my love of The Body Shop's Camomile Cleanser in the past, but all three of my bottles have leaked everywhere, no matter what I do. So annoyed that my bathroom was an oily mess yet again, I decided to try a new one. Enter, the Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C Oil Cleanser.

I've been using the same cheap (but still great!) eBay makeup brushes for years, but when they started to fall apart I decided to splurge a little and buy myself the Zoeva Rose Gold Brush Set. This was definitely a beauty blogger inspired purchase and one that I'm glad I made.

Yet another product I would probably ignore if it weren't for all the raving blog reviews... This time it's NUXE Reve de Miel, aka lip balm extraordinaire.

I've done a couple brow themed posts in the past, but once again I've come across a product that I adore, and that has taken its rightful place in my makeup bag. Welcome, Soap & Glory's Archery Brow Tint & Pencil...

...In the form of lipstick, guys. Chill.

When I dyed my hair into a blonde ombre 'do, I went out and bought the cheapest toning shampoo I could. I wanted to test out a cheap one to see if it worked before splashing out on anything else, but I've been so impressed by Pro:Voke's Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo that I think it's going to stay!

Now, anyone with hooded eyelids will understand how painstakingly difficult it is to do any form of liquid/gel liner, particularly if a wing is involved. But, I may have found my answer in the form of Soap & Glory's Supercat Eyeliner Pen.

When writing my Top 5 2014 Discoveries, I realised that I hadn't actually written a full review of the Stila In The Light Palette, despite having taken photos as soon as I opened it. Seeing as it has been a bit of a rediscovery for me over the past month or so, I thought it was time I jotted down my thoughts.

Finally I am coming at you with a Makeup Revolution review! While my blog has been on the back burner, I've been testing out the products I was sent, and now I finally have time to talk about them.

When the first batch of Rimmel Apocalips came out, I was intrigued but didn't give into the hype. At the time I wasn't a big fan of really bright colours on the lips. However, after finding out they had come out with a matte version of the liquid lipstick, and then spotting the gorgeous colour Meteoric Matte, I had to get it as soon as possible.

There was recently a student night at my local shopping centre, and some damage was made. Surprisingly, only one makeup purchase was made, and so now I can introduce you to the beauty that is Urban Decay's Pulp Fiction Eyeshadow Palette.

I haven't tried much Soap & Glory makeup, but I was completely drawn in by the colour of this lipstick. I'm not typically a matte gal, but a berry that isn't too deep and can be worn daytime or nighttime? I had to have it.

Last month, Dirty Looks interviewed me on their blog as part of their Hair Talk series with bloggers. After chatting all things hair (I spoke about milkmaid braids a few times too many) they kindly asked if I would like to be sent a set of hair extensions to review, so of course I said yes!

As I mentioned nearly a month ago, I purchased The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil. After using it since then, I have my thoughts to share!
After a few breakouts during the exam period, I decided to pick up Lush's Tea Tree Water Toner. After cleansing my face, morning and night, I spritz this all over my face, and leave it to sink in itself. Then I apply my other skincare. You can spray this onto a cotton pad and sweep it over your skin also, but I personally think the spritzing method is much more fun!
Today I have something a little different to talk about, but one that I think fellow bloggers and shoppers will benefit from! Mallzee is a fairly new app which, in simple terms, allows you to shop your favourite brands in the one place.

The app is so simple to use, you can swipe right if you like an item or swipe left if you don't. Mallzee then handily stores your liked items so you can view them later, and even purchase them by being linked directly through the app. My favourite thing about it is that it remembers your taste the more often you use it, so you're sure to come across something that you love. Also, you can search for an item if you are looking for something in particular through a ton of filters, which is always a plus. It's just like regular online shopping, but you have a huge range of brands available to pick and choose from (such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters and ASOS) so you don't have to do the whole "fifteen tabs open" thing.

As well as all this, you can instantly share the items that you find with friends who also have the app. They are then able to give their opinion on it. Although, if they give an item a thumbs down, you can't purchase it through the app! I personally haven't used the app in this way - I prefer it for shopping only. But I do think this is a brilliant idea and I have no doubt I'll end up using it in the future.

Mallzee is a growing app which I think has lots of potential. It is simple to use and makes an avid shopper's life far easier! It's wonderful to have all of your favourite brands right at your fingertips, so I'd suggest giving it a shot, especially as it's free. I suppose the only downside is that my "saved items" list is growing steadily fast. You can find Mallzee here, or by searching in your app store.

I purchased JASON's Brightening Apricot Scrubble Facial Wash & Scrub (phew, that's a long name) about two months ago, and after using it since I feel a review is in order! As you may know, I have very dry, dehydrated skin. I do have the ocassional shiny t-zone or awful blemish also. But, when I look for an exfoliant, I'm more concerned in how well it gets rid of the dry skin and leaves the nice soft skin.

I was dubious when buying this because I hadn't tried anything from JASON before and because online, the "grit" looks quite large and possibly rough. However, this isn't the case. It lathers up nicely with a touch of water, and the exfoliant particles which are walnut powder successfully buff away any dry patches on my face, with the apricot oil leaving my skin feeling soft. At first I used this every day, but now this Scrubble has worked its magic so well that I use it every two to three days. It is gentle enough to use daily (and I do have fairly sensitive skin) while also getting rid of all that unwanted dryness. JASON products are also all natural, not tested on animals, and the packaging is made of recycled material. So that's a plus!

For around the £5 mark at Feelunique, I'd say this Scrubble (aka the cutest name for a face scrub ever) is definitely worth it. It smells gorgeous too, like apricots, obviously! My skin hasn't had any dry patches since using it, and I've even had less shine in the t-zone after a long day, which could also be down to this. You also only need a tiny amount each use, so this 113g tube will last a long time. Let me know if you've tried this, or any other JASON products before!
Say hello to the Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop of Pink, a blush I have been loving recently.

Although described as a "liquid cheek tint", I would actually describe this as more of a mouse formula, albeit on the runny side. This blends so nicely because of its liquid/mouse formula, and creates a really natural flush that can also be built up to a stronger colour. The colour of Pop of Pink is a pink verging on coral, so I think the name suits it well. I like to use a small stippling brush to pat and swirl the product on, but fingers do work well with it too.

Once applied, the blush sets to a matte finish. Sometimes I go for the matte look, but I on occasion I pair it with a highlighter to add some extra glow. And oh boy, when it is set there is no budging. The swatch on my arm was there for the entire day with very minimal fading, until I actively took it off with a micellar water.
Swatched and blended out

I think the formula and colour of this blush is great, especially for around the £4 mark. I wasn't particularly drawn to any of the other colours, but they are nice and wearable so I'd recommend that you give the range a look!
