Merry (belated) Christmas! I don't know about you, but I always spend weeks planning what I'm going to wear on Christmas Day. I think it's because I would always be so excited for the day as a child - wearing a pretty dress and slipping around the floor in white tights. Not much has changed, let's be real...
I love denim, and I think one of the most classic looks in fashion is blue jeans and a red tee. I don't know what it is, but the combo is just so damn pretty. However, sometimes you need to be a lil bit dressy and so in steps this blouse, which guess what - I just love with jeans...
I know these trousers have been featured on my blog already, but I just couldn't resist photographing them again when I wore them in Barcelona. This was my outfit of choice for the day we visited the Sagrada Familia - shoulders needed to be covered and short shorts were a no. So, my dreamy striped trousers were worn again...
Yes this tee is everywhere, yes I still had to have it. What can I say, it's a lot cheaper than the Gucci tee it's obviously modelled after! Anywhere, here's another outfit from my trip to Barcelona. I ditched the floaty dresses and playsuits and went for a classic tee and denim combo...
This post is a shout out to all the people out there with big boobs who just can't wear bardot tops or dresses. You know the struggle - you can't wear them with a normal bra, strapless bras suck (or maybe that one is just on me!), and often going braless means a weird shapeless mess that ruins that style of the top. But your prayers have been answered folks, because this dress is a good'un...
Let's kick off my Barcelona outfit posts with something you've seen before. Yep, it's that skirt again. I know I posted an outfit featuring this midi skirt not too long ago, but I like to keep things real here and show you all what I actually wear. And I actually wear this skirt a lot because it's so damn pretty and effortless. Here's how I styled it...
As some of you may know, I went to Barcelona! I've got a post coming up telling you all about the sights (and food), but for now I wanted to do a little post on my outfits. There will be some upcoming posts with all the deets on my personal faves, but for now here's a glance at everything I wore in the prettiest city...
When it comes to summer (Scottish summer, that is) you can usually get away with jeans and a tee on sunny days. But sometimes we're greeted with a heatwave, and skin tight jeans just won't cut it. I thought one of these rare days coupled with a walk to the Botanic Gardens would be a great day to test out my new favourites; some super flowy striped trousers. Paired with a boxy crop top and trainers, this was a really simple outfit that featured no tight or clingy clothes. Perfect for a super hot day. We may have gone a little snap happy..
Once again I'm delving into my 2016 archives to bring you an outfit I wore last summer in Cape Cod. I took these photos in Nantucket, the most picturesque island that we had so much fun exploring! As I wrote in my last throwback outfit post, this is the kind of outfit I'm so excited to break out again now that the weather is warming up a little. On to the details...
No, Scotland didn't just get a magical and warm makeover - these are a bunch of photos I found on my camera from the summer of '16, when I was visiting Boston. I loved the outfit so much that I just had to share, as it's something I'll be wearing again as soon as the weather heats up a bit...
Hello, I'm back! After a few lazy days (it's the holidays, after all) which included two trips to see The Force Awakens and CHRISTMAS, I've got a post for you. Simple, sure, but I hope you enjoy my Christmas Day outfit as much as I did...
I should be applauded for not purchasing a black or grey coat this year. Sure, I've still gone very neutral but look - some colour! I keep seeing the same coat in black though and it's so... tempting...
I've been going through a real denim obsession recently. It started with buying jeans for the first time in years, then ventured to a denim jacket, then denim skirts and shirts and... another denim jacket. More on that later.
While I appreciate the 70s trend rocking the fashion world right now, I haven't actually bought many of the clothes. One item I just couldn't pass up, however, was a suede skirt. After searching for the perfect one for what seemed like an age, I finally came across this one in New Look - and it's petite too! I just had to pair it with my floppy hat to feel all pseudo-hippy, although I'm not sure that it's exactly summer appropriate.
So this dress makes me feel hella witchy. This was purchased when I was in one of those 'I want to experiment and wear something that makes me feel badass' moods, and to be honest I'm still working out how to style it. It's actually meant to be more of a midi length, but obviously sits much lower on petite ol' me.

Yes, these outfit photos were taken in front of Snowdonia - my family and I had the prettiest view from our cottage in Anglesey while on holiday.
When Summer comes around there is nothing I love more than a cropped, loose fitting top. I've been pleased being able to break out this top I found in Topshop last year, and thought I would make a little post on it!

I've been searching for a kimono for a long time, but found that most of them were either 1. Pricey or 2. Floral. While I do love me some floral print, I wanted something different, you know? And then I found this monochrome zig-zagged beauty for just over £10!

What I'm Wearing:
Kimono // Forever 21
Dress // H&M
Shoes // Missguided
Socks // Topshop
Necklace // Accessorize
Bracelet // Market stall

I know this kimono will look lovely paired over a simple top and shorts combo, but I felt like trying it out with something a bit dressier. Still keeping it simple, I went for this black bodycon dress and glittery heels.. Although you can't tell unless up close, my socks also have a matching zig-zag pattern on them, which pleases me. I also added some pale pink accessories because... well, I just wanted to.

I really like how the kimono completely changes the dress. It adds a floaty, effortless style to the entire look, and is also a great way to cover up any insecurities without looking like you are trying to! I may end up investing in a floral one after all...
