It's my last Monthly Post of 2017! I'm currently deciding what my 2018 Monthly Posts will be, whether I'm switching up the format or just getting rid for something new! However, let's talk about my November. I'll be totally honest, I can barely remember anything except working on my final Creative Writing folio and another essay for my Victorian Literature module. I think I've spent more time sitting at my desk than anything else... fun. Anyway, it's time to look at the month ahead for the last time this year, and I've chucked on a Christmas playlist at the end for you all...

Oh October, I swear you were only a week long. I know everyone says it, but this year has gone by so fast and this month barely existed as far as I'm concerned! I sadly didn't get to go on my Amsterdam trip but I still managed to have a productive week off uni, although I'm wishing I'd found some time to relax too because this month is bound to be a stressful one. Here's what I've got going on...
A few days late, but who's counting? For once, I'm really stuck while writing this post. Normally I give a quick overview of the previous month, and talk about my goals for the month to come, and it's all fine and dandy. But in September I went through a breakup and started my final year of uni within five days, signed up for a bunch of uni events I never normally would, and had a mighty cold for a good week+ of it. I've just been in a strange mood between pushing myself to make this year great, and wallowing in self pity because a massive chunk of my life is now gone. But anyway, I do have plans for this month, so here's what I've got on...
August included moving back to Dundee and settling into my new flat, working my uni's open day and getting to tell a whole bunch of worried applicants and parents about my amazing course, and soaking up lots of family time before I and everyone else get back into the swing of non-holiday life. And as cliche as it sounds, I can't believe it's September already! I'm actually looking forward to having a proper schedule again, but wow did summer go by quickly. Here's what I've got coming up this month...
July started with me coming back from a lovely holiday, had me moving home for a few weeks while I'm between leases, and ended with me getting ready to move into my new flat. In between all the moving about, I was searching for jobs, buying pretty clothes, working on the Freshers issue of Magdalen, and generally just trying to organise my life. How one person can have so many belongings, I'll never know. Anyway, here's a look at the month ahead...
So June was a weird month. I handed my notice in at work, booked a holiday (which I'm currently on!) and finally started packing up my bedroom in the flat I can't stand. It was filled with some gorgeous sunny days but also some downpours in which aforementioned work flooded. So, while I sun myself - thank heavens for scheduled posts - here's a look at the month ahead...
Well, May was a hectic month. I had a few birthday parties, found out I need to search for a new job after only two months of working at my current place because the store is closing, and I won an award! I was so surprised and pleased to find out that I won Best Section for my uni's magazine at our media awards - I'm so proud that something I worked my butt off on is getting recognition! Anyway, here's a look at the month ahead...
April was a strange mixture of hectic and happy. I finished with uni for 3rd year, found out what modules I'll be taking in 4th year, had a tour of my uni's anatomy department and saw a dead body (!!), and started a new job. It looks like May is shaping up to be not quite as weird, but here's a look at what I've got planned anyway...
March was a special month to me. I've said before that I don't generally care about celebrating my birthday and this year was no different, but as I was turning 21 my family and boyfriend all found ways to make me feel very special. I'm so grateful to all of them, and so I hope my happiness in March will continue through to this month! Here's what I've got on...
I've been toying with the idea of writing monthly posts for a while now. I knew I didn't want to go for the classic Monthly Favourites, but I also didn't want to set goals or recap a month. So, here we have The Monthly Post. Think of it as me setting up the month ahead. Here is what is on my mind this month...
