I'm such a sucker for black in any season, but I do admit it can be a little harder to pull off in the summer. However, this black dress is so lightweight, and the open back with crisscross straps and the ruffles to the front make for such a lovely summer outfit. I fully admit this dress would look much nicer braless (which I have done) but as I've not got small boobs and knew we'd be doing a lot of walking I went for a lacy bralette - it was still comfortable and cute! Paired with minimal accessories and comfy trainers, it was the perfect outfit for roaming around Nantucket.
