Current Makeup Bag Staples

We know how it is around here - I love trying out new makeup but I'm a creature of habit and when I love something I wear it to death. Recently I've been loving a natural glowy skin look with warm neutral eyes and lips, and so here are my three loves that I always have on the go at the moment...

My new favourite base is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream. I use shade Fair, and find it a really good match for me. It's a nice inbetween shade - pale enough for my natural colour but dark enough for when I'm wearing fake tan (with a little added bronzer of course). I'd say it's around a medium coverage, but it looks so natural on the skin and I find it covers blemishes really well. It took me a while to get used to the citrus scent - I like it, but it's a bit strange for a foundation. It was a bit pricey to buy as it isn't the easiest to get hold of in the UK but overall, I'm really pleased I got it!

Everyone knows about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette already so I don't need to go on, but it deserves a mention as I wear it all the time - even those bright pinks and red which is why I held off buying the palette for a while. Those colours I like using to add something special to the crease or outer corner, I have to admit I've not been bold enough to wear them all over the eye yet! But the rest of the colours I love for neutral warm eye looks.

For lips I'm a natural gal these days, and a sucker for browny pinks. I picked up Tanya Burr's Lipstick in Pink Cocoa around the same time as Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Lipstick (more on that one at a a later date) and I have to say that to my surprise, I've been reaching for Tanya's one more! The formula is so buttery and moisturising while still fairly long lasting, and the colour is a gorgeous neutral on me. I love how comfortable and easy it is to wear, and I think it looks gorgeous paired with warm eye looks from the ABH palette.
