The Face Mists You Need

I don't know where I would be without face mists, they have become such a staple in my skincare (and makeup) routine. I love how they provide my skin with much needed hydration in such a quick and easy way, and are such a joy to use! I'm still wanting to test more out, but here are my two favourites at the moment...

I tend to use these two for different things. First comes Lush's Tea Tree Toner Water, which I find calms my skin, helps fight and prevent breakouts, and keeps my skin hydrated. I spritz my face two or three times between each step in my skincare routine - it sounds a bit much but I find that layering the moisture really helps out my dehydrated skin! My skin just feels really refreshed and lovely afterwards.

My newest find is Pixi's Hydrating Milky Mist which does exactly what it says on the tin. This one comes out as a super fine mist which is heavenly to spray on. While the Lush option is strictly a skincare product for me, I tend to use this one before and after applying makeup so that I have an extra boost of moisture, and so that my foundation looks fresher and more natural. The mist is so fine that I can use it over makeup throughout the day when I need a hit of hydration, so it tends to sit next on my desk next to all my coursework!

I only really have one con about these guys, and that is the speed in which I go through them. See: very! Next I plan to venture into the world of fixing sprays so I would love your suggestions!

  1. I absolutely adore you and your blog, just had to say. Your photography is awesome and the whole feel of your blog is just cosy and cute, amazing! I'd love to try a face mist, the one I've got my eye on is the serozinc (I think that's what it's called) by La Roche Posay!

  2. I used to adore the Tea Tree toner and my boyfriend just bought me another bottle to use and I can't wait to rediscover it all over again!
